here is only one supported client and that uses widgets.

I have a Xp just asking but are mac users having the same problem or just windows ?

It'll be all users (I use linux). The problem is that the meta server is dead so it's independent of the computer the client is run on.

do u think redownloading will work?

Your target should read:

"C:\Program Files\Daimonin\Client\0.9.7.1\daimonin.exe" -server 1

Make sure the -server 1 is outside the quotes.

Forgot to mention to change your path to the directory where YOU installed Daimonin.

Thanks for the correction Vinhi. I've updated the news.

For people for whom it is still not working, this may mean that you are still running an old non-updated client. What's the name of the updater on Windows? Probably updater.exe. Try that instead of daimonin.exe. If you still have no joy, yes, try a new dl (from our download page to be sure you get the latest).

This is not the forum, so please use that for discussions. I will clean up here sooner or later

I tried that too with no luck, even re installing the whole game too. Nothing. I am bummed!

will the meta server be up agian soon? because it wont work on mine!

Sorry I am out of ideas as to why some people can get on with this method and some can't then. You'll just have to wait for a new meta server to be sorted out I guess, :(

perhaps you have an older version that has updated (like on my wife's comp), so the program may need to be run as something like this.....

i tried it and it worked for me but it kicked me and i tried it and was not there

Another note: The quotes will only be present in the Target box if the path has a space in it, i.e. "Program Files". If not, just add "-server 1" (without quotes" to the end.

I changed from daimonin_start.exe to daimonin.exe

when i made that change, it goes straight to the log on screen. Hope that works for everyone.

There is no Mangum saved on the main server, true. So assuming this is you char name, was he there before (ie,have you logged in before)? Remember, you must have had some exp for your character to be saved.

Also, website accounts and game accounts are not currently linked, so just because you have an account called Mangum here doesn't mean a character of that name exists too. You must create it separately.

DO NOT CHANGE THE DAIMONIN SHORTCUT YOU HAVE!

If youre running windows, right click your desktop and click new>Shortcut, when it creates the shortcut find your daimonin client (presumably program files>daimonin>client>daimonin.exe)

then follow the instructions for the quick fix, when you click this shortcut DO NOT PRESS ANYTHING when logging in, it should log into the main server by itself. If you press enter, it will usually bypass the command and goto the test server.
